At 15:00 on October 12, 2021, the dry gas seal of the gas injection centrifugal compressor in Huangcaoxia gas storage of PetroChina Southwest Oil and gas field company passed the test run for 72 hours, and the maximum daily gas injection volume reached 3.2 million cubic meters, marking the successful start-up of the dry gas seal of the first domestic gas injection centrifugal compressor in the gas storage, creating a precedent for the domestic centrifugal compressor to be used in the gas injection process of the gas storage. The safety and stability of natural gas is related to the national economy and the people's livelihood and national energy security, and the gas storage is an important part of the natural gas production, supply, storage and marketing system and a "ballast" to prevent and resolve natural gas supply risks and energy security.

Huangcaoxia gas storage is a key project of natural gas infrastructure construction in the national "14th five year plan", which undertakes the tasks of seasonal peak shaving and accident emergency response of natural gas in Southwest China. Centrifugal compressor is the key equipment of the key project, which has very high requirements for dry gas seal and must meet the requirements of safe, stable and long-term operation. Once there is a problem with dry gas seal, it will lead to the shutdown of the project and even affect the domestic gas of downstream residents. After many technical demonstrations, it is finally decided to adopt the dry gas seals and control systems of Sinoseal Holdings.

As the first domestic dry gas seal product of centrifugal compressor in gas storage, its design pressure is as high as 21.25mpa. It is the dry gas seal product of pipeline compressor with the highest pressure at present. The product adopts the high-pressure dry gas seal technology independently developed by Sinoseal to ensure that the sealing performance meets the expected indicators. The project lasted more than one year. During the implementation of the project, relying on the accumulation and R & D ability of high-pressure dry gas seal technology of Sinoseal for many years, Sinoseal carefully designed, manufactured, assembled and tested, and sent the best engineer team to complete the trial assembly and on-site installation and commissioning in SBW,  so as to ensure that all technical requirements are implemented in place, which ensures the smooth operation of dry gas seal and control system. This is an important milestone in the development of Sinoseal. Sinoseal will continue to make efforts in the field of high-end seal and make greater contributions to the development of national industry.
