Promote Green Development and Build a Beautiful China - CCUS Project supported by Sinoseal successfully put into production

On June 2, 2023, the 500KTA carbon capture and resource utilization, energy utilization research and demonstration project of National Energy Group Taizhou Power Generation Co., Ltd., which is supported by Sinoseal Holdings, has been tested and put into operation at full capacity. Sinoseal provides dry gas seal and dry gas seal control systems for key units of the project. The successful start-up of the project marks Sinoseal as a mature and reliable supplier of key components for the CCUS project.

This project is currently the largest and most technologically advanced thermal power carbon capture project in Asia, with a carbon dioxide capture capacity of 500KTA, providing a good demonstration for the energy industry to achieve the goals of " peak carbon dioxide emissions " and "carbon neutrality".

Sinoseal applies advanced technology and strict quality management to the design, production, and manufacturing processes of this project, ensuring that all performance indicators of the dry gas seal fully meet the design requirements during factory testing. The compressor unit of this project uses dry gas seal, laying a solid foundation for long-term stable operation of the project, improving the carbon capture efficiency of the entire device, reducing unit energy consumption, and significantly optimizing the long-term operating cost of the device.

At the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, the new development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing was proposed. As the leader of China's fluid sealing industry, Sinoseal has been committed to green and low Carbon cycle development. The successful start-up of the Qilu Petrochemical Million ton CCUS project undertaken by Sinoseal in 2022 marks an important step for green development in the petrochemical industry by Sinoseal. The CCUS project of National Energy Taizhou Power Generation Co., Ltd., undertaken in 2023, was officially put into operation, marking the resurgence of Sinoseal in the thermal power industry.
