On December 31, 2021, DGS and DGSP produced by Sinoseal of the raw material gas, propylene compressor and the turboexpander unit of Qilu petrochemical's M T/Y CCUS project were successfully shipped.

This project is our country’s first megaton-level CCUS project, covering three links of carbon capture, utilization, and storage. After completion, it will become the largest CCUS demonstration base for the entire industry chain in China, providing application cases for the country to promote the large-scale development of CCUS. It is of great significance to effectively improve my country's carbon emission reduction capabilities and build an "artificial carbon cycle" model.

The core compressor unit of the device—raw gas compressor, propylene compressor, and turboexpander dry gas seal. It took only 3 to 5 months from receiving the task to completion. The time is tight and the task is heavy. November 5 The sudden epidemic has made it more difficult to deliver on time. During the quarantine period, the project team did not stop work. They optimized the implementation plan, coordinated the long-term purchased parts, and accurately planned each process after the resumption of work, allowing the few unquarantined personnel work under the remote command of R&D team and find a way to complete the necessary processes. Because of the large amount of preliminary work done during the quarantine period, after the resumption of work, the manufacturing department can go all out to rush to produce the products. The workers work overtime. From morning to night, without weekends, the dry gas seal of the expander that needs to be delivered on November 20 is only delayed in 6 days, the control system was only delayed for 2 days. The dry gas seal and control system of the propylene machine and the CO2 unit were delivered 5-10 days ahead of schedule. The sealing products of the three units met the project requirements regardless of quality and delivery date. We fought a beautiful battle! Fully interprets "the speed of Sinoseal, the strength of Sinoseal"!
